MedCaT B.V. was founded in 2000 in Erica, where the company started as a one-man business focused on the sale of medical equipment. To this day, the variety of product categories, specialized products and accessories within MedCaT continues to increase; from DIY kits to advanced EEG systems. Our goal is to support our customers as best as possible with a wide range of high-quality products in combination with flexible and customer-oriented service.
MedCaT is an ISO 13485 certified dealer in the field of equipment and accessories for neurodiagnostics (EEG, EMG, TMS), vascular diagnostics (TCD, ABI), research (EEG, EEG in fMRI, TDCS, TMS) and neuro- and biofeedback. Our offices are located in the Netherlands (HQ) and Belgium, but we ship the accessories from the webshop worldwide.
The Donders Institute is a world-class research network. We are home to more than 1,000 scientists from all over the world who share the common goal of contributing to the advancement of the brain-, cognitive- and behavioural sciences. The institute enables access to the most advanced research facilities (we are currently building the most advanced magnetic resonance scanner in the world), fosters interdisciplinary collaborations, and we train the new generation of researchers.
Mission
Our mission is to advance the understanding of brain, cognition, and behaviour, from molecules to individuals to communities. We carry out curiosity-driven fundamental and translational research on natural and artificial systems with the ultimate goal of impacting society. We train early career researchers and we foster inclusivity.
Goal
The Institute is home to more than 600 researchers from 35 countries who share the common goal of contributing to the advancement of the brain-, cognitive- and behavioural sciences through investigator-driven research, and improving health, education and technology by applying advances in this field.
Dondrite is a study association involved in promoting the interaction between students and employees of the Donders Institute in Nijmegen.
They do so by organizing activities that encourage socializing among students, making it easier for them to get to know each other and discover the city of Nijmegen. Dondrite also organises different study-related activities that range from lectures by guest speakers to discussion groups about hot topics; and further aim at improving the study environment by organizing study groups that encourage a more interactive and cooperative approach and favor a deeper understanding of the different courses.

As a student of the Faculty of Social Sciences, you will learn about human behaviour, artificial intelligence, education and child-rearing, communication, society and culture. During your study you encounter the latest developments in your field and develop research skills that will later enable you to set to work yourself.
About our research
Our researchers participate in research projects that relate to social and individual issues. Our social scientific research extends over a broad field, from the fundamental basis of human behaviour to research focusing on the treatment of behavioural and mental disorders, or intervention programmes in health and education. There are also analyses and projected solutions for socio-cultural issues.
Brain Products was founded in 1997 by Alexander Svojanovsky and Henning Nordholz. At that time, they revolutionized the neurophysiology market with the initial release of the BrainVision Analyzer software, the world’s first convenient and automated Windows-based EEG and ERP analysis software.
Since then, Brain Products has built on Analyzer’s success and has developed many more solutions and products for a variety of applications in the field of neurophysiological research. In particular, this includes several innovative EEG amplifiers and electrode systems. By listening closely to the needs of our users, Brain Products has grown to be a worldwide leading manufacturer of neurophysiological research solutions and continues to maintain the level of excellence set with its market leading software.
